SGPS Adjunct Faculty for Early Childhood Education
Description: The School of Graduate and Professional Studies (SGPS) seeks qualified Adjunct Faculty to teach undergraduates in Early Childhood Education. Adjunct faculty are responsible for facilitating high-quality learning experiences, supporting student success, and contributing professional expertise to prepare future educators working with children from birth through age eight. - **Due to state tax payroll processing Elizabethtown College is limited to only hiring individuals residing the following states: MD, ME, NJ, NC, PA and VA.
Requirements: Required:
- Master's degree in early childhood education or a closely related field.
- Minimum three years of professional experience in early childhood settings serving children from birth through age eight.
- PA State Teaching Certification
- Demonstrated proficiency with online learning technologies and effective communication skills.
Preferred:
- Doctorate in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Experience teaching online at the postsecondary level.
- Experience supervising field placements
- Experience in curriculum development, assessment, family engagement, and/or early childhood leadership.
- Experience with early intervention, inclusive classroom practices, and supporting children with exceptionalities
