Senior User Experience User Interface Product Designer-Medical Device/Motion & Interaction Design
Job Summary: The company is seeking an experienced Senior User Experience User Interface Product Designer to lead the creation of intuitive, visually compelling, and motion-rich digital product experiences. This role combines strategic product thinking with advanced interaction and motion design expertise to enhance usability, engagement, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will partner closely with cross-functional teams to design end-to-end user journeys and scalable design solutions across complex digital platforms. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end product design initiatives from concept discovery through launch and continuous enhancement
- Design thoughtful motion systems, micro interactions, transitions, and animated states to improve usability and product clarity
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs for complex digital workflows
- Develop interactive motion prototypes and storytelling artifacts to communicate product vision and user behavior
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers to translate user insights into impactful design solutions
- Partner with engineering teams to ensure accurate and accessible implementation of motion behaviors and interactions
- Define scalable interaction patterns, motion guidelines, and user interface standards across the design ecosystem
- Contribute to and enhance the organization’s design system to maintain consistency across multiple products and platforms
- Produce polished demonstrations and design presentations for stakeholder reviews and strategic discussions
- Ensure all experiences are intuitive, fluid, expressive, and aligned with usability best practices
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Interaction Design, Motion Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in product design, user experience design, or interaction design
- Strong expertise in motion design, animation principles, and interaction design for digital products
- Advanced proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma, After Effects, or similar platforms
- Proven experience designing complete product experiences beyond visual interface execution
- Strong understanding of user-centered design methodologies and usability best practices
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, research, and product management teams
- Experience building or contributing to scalable design systems and interaction frameworks
- Excellent communication and visual storytelling abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a hybrid product designer and motion designer within complex software environments
- Ability to blend strategic product thinking with detailed interaction craftsmanship
- Experience designing enterprise or multi-platform digital ecosystems
- Prior experience creating motion standards that scale across large product portfolios

Pay Range: $60/hr to $65/hr
