Senior Sales Engineer – Treatment Aquatics

About the Role

As our Senior Sales Engineer – Treatment Aquatics, you will take ownership of developing and growing Xylem's business within the public swimming pool market across the Nordic Region (Sweden, Norway, Finland & Denmark). This is a highly autonomous role where you'll work closely with municipalities, consulting engineers, contractors, and pool operators to deliver advanced treatment solutions including filtration, disinfection, monitoring, and control systems. You'll combine technical expertise with commercial drive to identify new business opportunities, build long-term partnerships, and contribute to the continued growth of Xylem's Aquatics business. Your Responsibilities In this role, you will: Develop and execute the sales strategy for Aquatics Treatment solutions across Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark. Identify and win new business opportunities within the public swimming pool sector. Build trusted relationships with municipalities, consulting engineers, contractors, and pool operators. Promote Xylem's portfolio of filtration, disinfection, monitoring, and control solutions. Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and commercial offers. Lead contract negotiations and successfully close sales opportunities. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities. Represent Xylem at customer meetings, industry events, and exhibitions. Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular forecasts through our CRM system.

What We're Looking For

You have a strong technical background combined with a passion for business development and customer success. Ideally, you bring: A degree in Engineering, Environmental Technology, Water Technology, or a related technical field. Several years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or business development. Experience within water treatment, pumps, filtration, or aquatics solutions. Experience working with municipalities or public infrastructure projects is an advantage. Strong commercial acumen and a proactive approach to developing new business. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Experience using CRM systems. Fluency in Swedish and English. Willingness to travel approximately 50% across the Nordic region.
