Senior Architect / AI Engineer TECH

Nitka Technologies develops software for customers in the US and Europe and brings together about 300 professionals from Eastern Europe, North and South America. We are looking for an experienced Senior Architect / AI Engineer for a long-term project. Our customer is a US-based company that drives intelligent growth for businesses by combining consumer research with brand marketing, product design, and digital engineering to build profitable customer relationships. We offer 100% remote, full-time work with a flexible schedule with core overlap during US working hours (PST). About the role: The Senior Architect / AI Engineer is a strategic generalist bridging enterprise architecture, AI operationalization, and context engineering. Drives AI-native design across the enterprise through governance artifacts, MCP architectures, reusable accelerators, and prompt harnesses. Connects strategy to hands-on implementation. Responsibilities: -Scope Knowledge Engine: ontology, data catalog, schema governance; -Design MCP architectures (Knowledge-Memory, API Bridge, Webhook Agents); -Build Context Engineering Layer (CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, harness patterns); -Curate agent skills, prompts, rubrics, and harness configs; -Own Accelerator Solution Map: toolkits, gap analysis, specifications; -Bridge EA and service teams - translate strategy into guidance; -Define SDLC standards and Operating Model artifacts; -Deliver EA leadership artifacts (Maturity Map, Dashboard, Portfolio, Integration Map, AI Scorecard). Requirements: -5+ years in software architecture, solutions architecture, or enterprise architecture roles; -Demonstrated experience designing and building AI/LLM-integrated systems, including agent architectures, -prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and tool-use patterns; -Strong understanding of context engineering, including structured prompt design, system prompt authoring, knowledge retrieval optimization, and context window management; -Experience with at least two of: MCP, LangChain/LangGraph, Claude API, OpenAI API, or equivalent LLM orchestration frameworks; -Proficiency in Python and TypeScript/Node.js; -Experience with enterprise platform ecosystems, including Atlassian, Azure, GitHub, and Salesforce. Nice to have: -Experience with the Anthropic Claude ecosystem; -Experience with graph design, ontology modeling, or semantic data architectures; -Understanding of the Car/Driver/Road taxonomy; -Experience with enterprise governance models such as TOGAF, Zachman, or custom tiered governance.
