[Remote] Facility Compliance Consultant I
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is one of the largest agencies in the state, responsible for ensuring the health and safety of all North Carolinians. The Facility Compliance Consultant I role involves regulatory activities to determine compliance of nursing homes with federal and state requirements through inspections.
Responsibilities
- Surveying nursing homes during routine surveys and complaint investigations
- Completing survey reports, including statements of deficiency and complaint allegation findings
Skills
- Generalist Bachelor's degree in a health, human service, or educational related field from an appropriately accredited institution and three years' experience in surveying, clinical and/or administration of a program in a related health field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Social Work Master's degree in social work from an appropriately accredited institution and one year experience in surveying, clinical and/or administration of a program in a related health field
- Bachelor's degree in social work from an appropriately accredited institution and three years' experience in surveying, clinical and/or administration of a program in a related health field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must pass the Federal Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT) after training
- Strong clinical background, including assessment, care planning and delivery of care
- Demonstrated skills in communicating effectively
- Demonstrated ability to compose technical reports using good grammar
