RIS Cost Architect Specialist

The primary responsibility of the Cost Architect is to drive Shared Services' financial view in all Sales stages - from indicative costing for RFP responses to final costing for contracting. The CA is responsible for driving standard costs using the cost model and for engaging the Service Lines to estimate nonstandard requirements. This involves understanding high-level client needs from Sales/SA's and coordinating between them to define costs. The CA will encourage the SA Leads to assume an appropriate amount of risk to meet the needs of the value proposition. As a central resource during the presales, sales and post sales stages, the CA will also be responsible for identifying potential issues arising from costing, scope, timing or people matters. The CA will also help introduce options for Sales/SA's/Account Leads to drive cost that meets the solution requirements. The CA will also serve as a point of contact and obtain agreement from the Workgroup Leads for solution assumptions and costs and Identify risk areas of solutions and work with delivery to mitigate risk and ensure solution scope is fully covered by costs. Communicate the overall final solution to all stakeholders to ensure that all understand their scope, financial expectations, and cost model against which they'll be measured. Oversee updates and enhancements to the costing model to minimize the risk of cost overruns during execution. A Day In The Life Could Include: (job responsibilities) Serve as single point of contact for collecting and processing costing inputs from various teams Create cost model(s) with the help of defined tools and systems and ensuring model is accurate and complete Produce BDL (BPO Data Link) and work with the Pricing team to address any questions/issues with the BDL Iterate through all solution changes and providing insight into the impact of those changes and Identify areas of cost optimization to increase win ability of the deal. Provide Domain support and the data needed for solution documentation. Support the deal in getting through the internal approval process Support SAs while working in the future INSPIRE model; focusing on aspects of the solution that are non standard or not supported by the tool What You Will Need To Bring With You: (experience & education required) Bachelor's/Master's degree in any stream (preferably Finance) Proficiency in MS Excel (Intermediate to Advanced) and all other basic MS office tools i.e Outlook, Word and Powerpoint Excellent communication skills (Written and Spoken) as the role requires to have discussions with senior leadership and stake holders from across geographies. Analytical ability. What Will Put You Ahead: (experience & education preferred) Prior costing experience, either in delivery or in the larger solution team Advanced knowledge of excel, If the candidate displays additional skills like VB, macro building etc, she or he will have an edge. Analytical skills as the role involves viewing numbers in multiple perspectives.
