[Remote] XC Wealth Management Consultant - Houston

They are seeking a Wealth Management Consultant to lead sales initiatives, manage relationships with key firms, and collaborate with a team to enhance investor outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales initiatives in the Cross Channel segment
• Identify firm and firm representatives' needs and coordinate efforts to serve those needs
• Manage American Funds Distributions presence, relationships and business results with key firms
• Deliver motivational and informative presentations
• Set goals and measure performance against them
• Collaborate with other Senior Sales Force members to identify opportunities for better investor outcomes
• Build long-term relationships in third-party distribution
• Lead and motivate a territory team consisting of an Internal Wholesaler, Divisional Wholesaler and Regional Wholesaler
• Partner with Retirement Plan Wholesaler, asset class, vehicle and practice management specialists to drive results
• Leverage technologies to create custom analysis (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, etc.)
• Synthesize information and present it in a distilled manner

Skills

• You have a proven track record in third-party distribution, a broad knowledge of the ETF, Mutual Fund, SMA and CIT business and sales cultures, and the demonstrated ability to build long-term relationships
• You can effectively lead and motivate a territory team consisting of an Internal Wholesaler, Divisional Wholesaler and Regional Wholesaler
• You are a strong partner with your Retirement Plan Wholesaler, asset class, vehicle and practice management specialists to drive results
• You have a proven track record and a deep technical knowledge of portfolio construction
• You know how to leverage technologies to create custom analysis (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, etc.)
• You're well-versed in synthesizing information and presenting it in a distilled manner
• You have one or more of the following designations: Series 7, AIF, AIFA, PPC, CIMA, and CFA
