[Remote] Volunteer Board Opportunity: Director of Marketing

National Dental Advocacy Program (NDAP) is experiencing significant growth and is seeking a strategic marketing leader to join their volunteer board as the Director of Marketing. This hands-on leadership role involves developing brand strategy, crafting narratives, and executing marketing initiatives to enhance the organization's impact and outreach.
Responsibilities
- Lead Brand Strategy: Develop and maintain NDAP's brand voice, messaging framework, style guide, and visual identity to ensure consistency across all communications
- Craft Compelling Narratives: Translate complex healthcare and advocacy initiatives into compelling stories for grant proposals, donor presentations, fundraising campaigns, and public outreach
- Strengthen Donor & Partner Recognition: Design and manage sponsorship recognition standards, donor acknowledgment materials, and partner branding integration across marketing collateral
- Drive Hands-On Marketing Execution: Take an active role in developing messaging for key initiatives, including NDAP's Senior Outreach Project and other high-impact campaigns. This is a working leadership position where you'll help navigate the creations—not simply oversee—content
- Manage Google Ad Grants Volunteer: Oversee NDAP's Google Ad Grants volunteer to help maximize awareness, increase website traffic, and support donor, volunteer, and partner engagement
- Oversee the Marketing Committee: Provide direction to committee lead, mentorship, and structure for marketing volunteers by approving assigned projects, setting priorities, and fostering collaboration
Skills
- Experience in marketing, branding, communications, public relations, or a related field

- Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts into compelling messages
- A collaborative leader who is organized, proactive, and passionate about making a meaningful impact
