[Remote] Travel Trade Marketing Specialist
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. VISIT FLORIDA is the state’s official tourism marketing organization, focused on selling Florida as a vacation destination. The Travel Trade Marketing Specialist will manage marketing campaigns with global partners, ensure compliance with proposals, and represent the organization at industry events.
Responsibilities
- Project manage cobranded marketing campaigns with key global trade partners, including airlines, tour operators, agencies, and Destination Marketing Organizations. Negotiate deliverables, pricing, reporting, terms and conditions to maximize return on investment
- Review incoming proposals to ensure compliance with established requirements, tracking deliverables, routing materials, and ensuring brand consistency
- Maintain documentation by collecting deliverables, tracking invoices, and actively managing partner, contract, and project milestones in Salesforce
- Prepare materials and communication for agency status calls, planning meetings, and partner discussions. Maintain record of meetings, decisions, approvals, and timelines
- Package campaign performance summaries and post-campaign documentation that highlights key outcomes, successes, and actionable recommendations to shape future marketing strategies
- Represent VISIT FLORIDA at domestic and international planning meetings, trade shows, and industry events. Assist trade department with partner communications and event and tradeshow logistics
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business administration, communications, or related field
- 2+ years professional experience
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with agencies, industry representatives, DMOs, and VISIT FLORIDA Partners
- Knowledge of travel trends and ability to showcase Florida destinations
- Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and agencies
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
- Ability to represent VISIT FLORIDA at various industry meetings, events, trade shows, and conferences
- Position includes travel that will require a valid passport
