[Remote] Supply Chain/Maintenance Recruiter
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Staffing Technologies is seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter to support a high-volume supply chain hiring initiative focused on maintenance technician talent. The recruiter will manage full-cycle recruiting for approximately 300 maintenance-related roles and collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure effective hiring processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for high-volume supply chain and maintenance technician openings
- Recruit for roles such as maintenance technicians, industrial maintenance mechanics, forklift/equipment repair technicians, conveyor technicians, facilities maintenance associates, and warehouse maintenance associates
- Build active pipelines of qualified candidates across multiple markets and facilities
- Source candidates through job boards, resume databases, referrals, community outreach, trade schools, technician networks, and local market recruiting tactics
- Screen candidates for hands-on maintenance experience, shift availability, commute/location fit, pay expectations, reliability, and warehouse/distribution environment fit
- Partner with hiring managers and field leaders to understand role requirements, urgency, candidate profiles, and market challenges
- Drive candidate engagement through frequent phone, text, and email communication to reduce interview cancellations, no-shows, and offer fall-off
- Coordinate interviews quickly and ensure candidates are fully prepared with location, schedule, expectations, and next steps
- Track pipeline activity, interview activity, show rates, offer acceptance, starts, and candidate drop-off trends
- Provide market feedback on candidate availability, pay expectations, shift concerns, skill gaps, and competitive hiring conditions
Skills
- 7–10 years of recruiting experience preferred, ideally supporting high-volume hourly, supply chain, warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, skilled trades, or maintenance hiring
- Experience recruiting maintenance technicians, industrial maintenance mechanics, forklift technicians, facilities maintenance technicians, conveyor technicians, equipment repair technicians, or similar skilled-trade hourly talent
- Proven success managing high-volume requisitions with fast turnaround expectations
- Strong understanding of hourly recruiting challenges, including backouts, no-shows, commute issues, shift preferences, counteroffers, and candidate ghosting
- Ability to source candidates directly rather than relying only on applicants
- Strong phone presence and ability to build trust quickly with field/hourly candidates
- Experience partnering with hiring managers in distribution centers, warehouses, manufacturing plants, supply chain operations, or field operations
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple openings, candidates, interviews, and follow-ups at once
- Mix of agency/staffing and corporate recruiting experience
- Experience recruiting for retail, supply chain, logistics, 3PL, warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, facilities, or transportation environments
- Prior experience supporting large-scale hiring initiatives with 100+ openings
- Experience recruiting for maintenance, MHE, conveyor, automation, forklift repair, industrial electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or facilities-related roles
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and high-volume recruiting tools
- Grit, persistence, and comfort dealing with the complexities of hourly field recruiting
