[Remote] Supervisor Operations- Overnight (5PM-1AM)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Connection Services has a fantastic opportunity for a Supervisor of Operations, working remotely. The Supervisor of Operations is responsible for leading overnight operations within a fast-paced, high-volume service delivery environment, ensuring multiple concurrent workstreams remain on schedule and meet quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Leads Overnight Operations
- Oversees multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Maintains real-time awareness of operational status, risks, and dependencies
- Ensures execution stays aligned to defined schedules and service expectations
- Drives Decision-Making & Escalations
- Acts as the primary escalation point during overnight operations
- Resolves complex issues involving internal teams, partners, and field resources
- Makes timely decisions that balance schedule, quality, and risk
- Optimizes Resources & Workload
- Manages and adjusts resource allocation across concurrent activities
- Prioritizes work dynamically to prevent bottlenecks and delays
- Ensures teams remain focused on the highest-impact activities
- Ensures Quality & Execution Standards
- Validates completion of required deliverables before work is closed out
- Enforces adherence to operational playbooks and documentation standards
- Conducts shift-level quality checks and ensure clean handoffs
- Supports Customer & Stakeholder Experience
- Communicates clearly with internal teams and stakeholders
- Ensures issues impacting delivery are addressed quickly and effectively
- Helps maintain a consistent, reliable service experience
- Manages Incidents & Risk
- Leads response efforts for operational disruptions, escalations, or incidents
- Assesses risk in real time and determine appropriate course of action
- Maintains control of the operation under pressure and changing conditions
Skills
- Proven ability to work in high-volume, time-sensitive environments
- Strong decision-making skills with ability to respond quickly under pressure
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across distributed teams
- Experience supporting technology deployments, field services, or infrastructure programs
- Familiarity with escalation management and incident response frameworks
- Experience working with remote teams, vendors, or field technicians
- Ability to work overnight shifts on a consistent basis
