[Remote] Strategic Account Executive

They are seeking a highly motivated Strategic Account Executive to manage and expand relationships with key commercial accounts, delivering consultative fiber and connectivity solutions that address real business challenges.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic business accounts throughout assigned markets
- Develop strong relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders within customer organizations
- Identify upsell, cross-sell, renewal, and expansion opportunities across the company’s portfolio of fiber and technology solutions
- Conduct customer meetings and business reviews to understand goals, challenges, and future business needs
- Present customized solutions, pricing, and proposals that align with customer objectives
- Partner closely with Sales Engineering, Operations, Billing, and Customer Support teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
- Proactively resolve customer concerns and coordinate internal resources to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasting, and customer documentation within Salesforce or CRM platforms
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive market activity
- Consistently achieve or exceed assigned sales and retention goals
Skills
- 3+ years of B2B sales, account management, or strategic sales experience, preferably within telecommunications, fiber, technology, or managed services
- Proven track record of growing revenue and managing customer relationships
- Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned markets as needed
- Experience selling fiber-optic, Ethernet, VoIP, SD-WAN, cloud, or managed technology solutions
- Familiarity with enterprise, municipal, healthcare, education, or multi-site commercial customers
- Knowledge of fiber technologies including GPON, XGS-PON, and enterprise connectivity solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Telecommunications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
