[Remote] Sr Systems Analyst

The Sr Systems Analyst position is responsible for designing enhancements and new business applications while ensuring the integrity and availability of databases supporting key applications.
Responsibilities
- Designing enhancements and new business applications and/or information systems solutions through integration of technical and business requirements
- Serving as technical designer to identify best solution and resulting technical specifications within limits of code environment
- Linking Business Analyst needs and Architect definition to technical solutions
- Ensure the integrity, security, scalability, and daily availability and of the databases supporting the Illinois and Texas Blue Chip and IRIS CICS applications through proactive monitoring and management activities
Skills
- Bachelor Degree and 4 years Information Technology OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 6 year Information Technology experience OR 8 years Information Technology experience
- Strong ability to analyze, design, and document system requirements (functional and technical specifications)
- Experience working closely with business stakeholders to gather, refine, and translate requirements into technical solutions
- Solid understanding of system integrations
- SDLC Methodology - Agile / Scrum / Iterative Development
- Strong technical expertise in: Java (service-layer logic, integrations, enhancements), XML (configuration, messaging, transformations), Oracle Database (data modeling, PL/SQL), SQL (complex queries, data analysis, troubleshooting, optimization), UI technologies (web-based applications, user workflows, basic front-end frameworks)
- Experience with Control-M
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including: CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar), Version control systems (Git, Bitbucket), Build and deployment automation
- Problem solving and analytical thinking
- Strong oral/written communication skills
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology related
- Experience with Oracle Revenue Management & Billing (ORMB), particularly for ASO customers
- Knowledge of healthcare billing processes (invoicing, payments, adjustments, reconciliation)
- Understanding of claims processing lifecycle and its integration with billing systems
