[Remote] Spend Management Account Executive
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Paylocity is an award-winning provider of cloud-based HR and payroll software solutions, and they are seeking a Spend Management Account Executive to join their Sales & Marketing team. This role involves consulting with finance leaders to improve visibility and control over company spending, while also sourcing and closing new accounts in the FinTech space.
Responsibilities
- Consult with Finance leaders (CFOs, Controllers, VPs, Directors) to help them achieve full visibility and better control over all non-payroll company spend
- Source, progress and close new accounts through a consultative and insight driven sales approach
- Prepare and present proposals and provide appropriate follow-up throughout the sales process
- Attend trade shows, conferences and other events to promote Paylocity services
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quota for your territory
- Work closely with sales leadership to refine and build the go-to-market strategies, product pitch and ideal customer profile
- Provide valuable input into the product roadmap and be the voice of the customer for the product management and engineering teams
Skills
- Proven success of 2 to 5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in selling to companies in the FinTech space
- Exceptional technical aptitude; passion for understanding our technology and communicating its benefits to both technical and non-technical prospects
- Strong interest in B2B SaaS and the greater financial ecosystem
- Have prior experience working at fast growth companies
- Have demonstrated pipeline building capabilities along with success in building both internal and external referral channels
- Strong presentation presence and product demonstration skills
- Self-starting attitude with high level of written and verbal communication skills
- Are growth minded and have the grit and attention to detail to be successful
- Travel to various locations as required, including prospective clients and company office locations. May include overnight travel by automobile or plane
- Represent the company at conferences, client meetings, industry events to build relationships and gather market insights
- Mobility required for sitting, standing and walking
- Mobility required for driving to prospective client sites
- HS diploma or equivalent required
- College degree strongly desired
