[Remote] Social Media Content Creator - Mental Health - volunteer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. BYOU Impact Foundation is building a new youth wellbeing movement around Mind, Body & Soul. They are seeking volunteer content creators to help create engaging social media content that promotes mental wellbeing and supports young people in feeling connected and supported.
Responsibilities
- Help create short-form content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts
- Short-form videos about youth wellbeing, confidence, stress, loneliness, self-care and community
- Campaign ideas around Mind, Body & Soul
- Instagram and TikTok concepts that feel honest, not clinical
- Captions, hooks, carousels and story formats
- Content that supports BYOU events, clubs, campaigns and community activations
- Interviews or community stories, where appropriate
- Behind-the-scenes content from BYOU initiatives
- Ideas that make mental wellbeing feel relatable, safe and shareable
- Creative input on trends, language, visuals and formats
Skills
- Love creating content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts or LinkedIn
- Understand Gen Z culture without forcing slang
- Care about mental wellbeing, self-care, confidence and community
- Can create content that feels honest, warm and visually strong
- Know how to write hooks, captions or short-form scripts
- Can use tools like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express or similar apps
- Are open to feedback and brand guidelines
- Can work independently and communicate clearly
- Want your creativity to create social impact, not just views
- Can commit a small amount of time consistently
- Want experience in social impact, youth wellbeing, content and community building
