[Remote] Lead Principal Technical Program Manager

They are seeking a Lead Principal Technical Program Manager to lead complex technical programs, align with business needs, and drive execution across multiple teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of highly complex, cross-organizational technical programs that align with business strategy and engineering objectives
- Define program scope, milestones, roadmaps, resource plans, and success metrics while managing dependencies across multiple engineering and business teams
- Develop and execute technical program strategies that ensure scalable, secure, reliable, and compliant delivery of products and services
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, dependencies, and critical issues, serving as the executive escalation point to drive timely resolution
- Partner with senior leaders, engineering teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities, influence decisions, and ensure successful program execution
- Establish and drive program governance, including status reporting, executive communications, KPI tracking, forecasting, and program health reviews
- Lead organizational change management efforts by managing evolving priorities, scope, schedules, and resource allocation to support business objectives
- Drive operational excellence by defining and implementing program management best practices, standardized processes, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization
- Champion data-driven decision making by leading the development and automation of dashboards, reporting, forecasting, and analytics that improve program visibility and execution
- Guide technical strategy and delivery standards to ensure solutions meet security, accessibility, compliance, scalability, and reliability requirements
- Mentor and provide strategic guidance to program managers and cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high-performance execution
- Build strong partnerships with executive leadership, customers, and stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and technical liaison for high-impact initiatives
- Lead post-delivery reviews, measure business outcomes, and use data and lessons learned to continuously improve program performance, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction
- Contribute to organizational capability by driving innovation, sharing industry best practices, and supporting talent development through coaching, hiring, and knowledge sharing
Skills
- 10+ years of experience in technical program management
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Experience leading complex, cross-organizational technical programs
- Strong understanding of business needs and technical knowledge
- Proven track record of defining program scope, milestones, and delivery plans
- Experience managing dependencies, risks, and escalations
- Ability to establish and evolve program management best practices
- Experience in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong partnership skills with executive leadership and stakeholders
- Experience in data-driven decision making and developing dashboards and reporting
- Ability to mentor and provide strategic guidance to program managers and teams

- Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
