[Remote] Senior Traveling Project Manager

Vertex Integration Partners is a leading national electrical contractor seeking an experienced Senior Traveling Project Manager to lead large-scale mission critical and data center projects across the United States. The role involves overseeing all phases of electrical construction projects, managing project teams, and ensuring successful project execution while maintaining compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, forecasting, change orders, procurement, and contract administration
- Manage project teams, field leadership, subcontractors, and client relationships
- Coordinate with engineering, estimating, safety, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution
- Drive project financial performance while maintaining quality, safety, and schedule objectives
- Conduct regular project meetings and provide executive-level reporting on progress, risks, and forecasts
- Mentor and develop Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and field personnel
- Ensure compliance with company standards, client expectations, and all applicable safety regulations
Skills
- 8+ years of electrical construction project management experience
- Experience managing large-scale commercial, industrial, mission critical, or data center projects
- Proven success managing projects valued at $25M+ in electrical scope
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction sequencing, scheduling, budgeting, and contract management
- Experience leading cross-functional project teams and maintaining strong client relationships
- Ability to travel full time to project locations throughout the United States
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Hyperscale data center experience with clients such as Google, Meta, AWS, Microsoft, or other major technology companies
- Experience with Primavera P6, Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required
