[Remote] Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Counsel Health is on a mission to multiply the world's healthcare capacity by building an AI-native medical group. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead initiatives in AI-powered healthcare and work cross-functionally to enhance their product offerings.
Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives with Product and Design to ship and iterate on unique product experiences in AI-enabled care that improve patient engagement and outcomes
- Work closely with our ML research team to bring cutting-edge AI/LLM techniques into clinical care and build them into our agentic framework
- Improve our physician-facing care platform and integrate AI tooling that increases physician efficiency and clinical capability
- Architect scalable backend systems, such as health data ingestion pipelines and enterprise client integrations
Skills
- 5+ years of building production software, ideally including 2+ years at a startup or growth company
- Proficiency with our stack: React, Next.js, Node.js (TypeScript), React Native, Postgres, AWS, Terraform, and Redis
- Experience building at scale, serving hundreds of thousands of end users and large enterprise clients
- Opinionated about leveling up your own engineering skills and the team around you
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and recent developments in the space
