[Remote] Senior Revenue Accountant, Software (ONLY 1 day in office/week), 110K-115K

LHH is a fast‑growing technology and consulting organization, seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to support SaaS revenue recognition and operational rigor in a rapidly scaling environment. The role involves overseeing revenue accounting processes and collaborating with leadership to enhance compliance and structure within the revenue function.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SaaS revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606
• Perform revenue accounting for fixed‑fee and professional services agreements
• Prepare reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentation
• Strengthen controls, workpapers, and audit‑ready processes
• Support the Controller in cleanup, standardization, and bringing rigor to revenue accounting
• Maintain organization and accuracy during high‑volume, fast‑moving periods
• Implement structure and consistency across revenue processes
• Partner cross‑functionally during integrations from ongoing acquisitions
• Assist in building scalable processes as the finance function matures
• Work independently while communicating proactively with leadership
• Utilize ERP systems including Acumatica and Infor CloudSuite/SyteLine

Skills

• Strong experience in SaaS revenue recognition, fixed‑fee revenue, and professional services revenue
• Solid understanding of ASC 606 and multi‑element arrangements
• Strong audit discipline — reconciliations, documentation, and detailed workpapers
• Excellent communication skills and ability to operate independently without heavy oversight
• Proven ability to stay organized in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment
• Supervisory experience is a plus, but not required
• Public accounting or structured corporate experience preferred
