[Remote] Senior Pre-Sales Security Consultant / Solution Architect

RedLegg is a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions, committed to protecting our clients’ digital assets and ensuring the security of their operations. They are seeking a Senior Security Solutions Architect to join their client-facing pre-sales team, responsible for shaping and architecting cybersecurity services opportunities. The ideal candidate will work closely with Sales and Delivery teams to define solution strategies and support opportunities from qualification through close.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery sessions to understand client environments, risks, and business objectives
- Shape and own the technical strategy for cybersecurity services opportunities
- Support deals throughout the sales cycle (discovery through close)
- Architect service-based solutions across one or more areas, including:
- MDR / SOC / SIEM
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Advisory / Risk / Compliance
- Security Assessments and Professional Services
- Lead or contribute to the design of services-based solutions, including managed security services, advisory engagements, and multi-phase delivery programs
- Partner with Sales to position and differentiate RedLegg’s services
- Own or validate scopes of work, assumptions, and Statements of Work (SOWs)
- Deliver client-facing presentations, workshops, and solution discussions
- Ensure proposed solutions are aligned with delivery capabilities and are commercially viable
- Identify cross-sell and expansion opportunities across service lines
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting, solutions architecture, or client-facing security services roles, with exposure to pre-sales or solutioning
- Experience supporting technical discovery, solution development, and client-facing engagements
- Proven ability to translate client needs, risks, and business goals into scoped cybersecurity services solutions
- Experience contributing to or owning SOWs, proposals, or service scopes
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and executive stakeholders
- Experience in at least one of the following areas: MDR / SIEM / Security Operations, Identity & Access Management, Advisory, risk, or compliance services, Security assessments or consulting services
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Delivery, and Practice teams
- Experience working on services-led cybersecurity engagements (MSSP, consulting, or managed services)
- Experience working within an MSSP, cybersecurity consulting firm, or services-led security organization
- Previous experience in a pre-sales or solutions architecture role
- CISSP, CCSP, or similar certification
- Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, or HIPAA
- Experience supporting mid-market or enterprise clients
