[Remote] Senior Media Account Executive
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SJ Mag Media has been connecting South Jersey businesses with engaged audiences for over 25 years. They are seeking a Senior Media Account Executive to build relationships and create marketing solutions that help businesses grow, inheriting an established portfolio while also developing new accounts.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate and close new business through networking, prospecting, referrals and cold outreach
- Manage and grow an established portfolio of client accounts
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective clients
- Create customized marketing solutions using print, digital, social media, video and event sponsorships
- Build long-term client relationships that generate repeat business and referrals
- Represent SJ Mag Media at networking events, community events and company-sponsored programs
Skills
- 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience in media, advertising, marketing or another consultative sales environment
- A proven track record of finding and closing new business
- Confidence initiating conversations with new prospects by phone, email and in person
- Strong presentation, communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to work independently while managing your own sales pipeline
- Familiarity with the South Jersey business community
