[Remote] Senior Marketing Lead, B2B
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Branch is on a mission to make insurance more accessible, so more people can be covered. They are seeking a Senior Marketing Lead to own strategy and execution for their independent-agency channel, focusing on building trust and engagement with independent agencies while also supporting demand generation efforts.
Responsibilities
- Attract and activate agencies. Build and run campaigns that bring in new independent agencies and move real producer behavior: quote activity, platform usage, and consistent conversion
- Build trust in the channel. Lead a structured, deliberate brand effort to earn back belief with the agency community
- Own events end to end. From goal-setting through post-event nurture, including in-market programs that bring our leadership into a region to meet agencies face to face, and the follow-up that turns those rooms into pipeline
- Sharpen the story. Give agents a clear, one-sentence answer to "what is Branch," and build the content and sales tools that make it stick and help producers sell
- Architect HubSpot. Own the data structure, segmentation, automation, and reporting. You run the tool, you do not just use it
- Run loyalty and incentives. Manage and continuously improve agent loyalty and incentive programs
- Read the market. Track brand health in the independent-agency market and turn what you learn into campaign strategy
- Maintain the infrastructure. Keep the HubSpot instance supporting Ember's business development effort running and useful
- Support the long cycle. Keep nurture and pipeline tracking functional while the BD lead drives the motion
- Call it when it grows. Flag when Ember has outgrown a light touch and needs its own dedicated marketing support
- Set and report KPIs. Establish metrics and report on performance in language leadership can act on
- Partner cross-functionally. Work closely with sales, distribution, and BD leadership, and influence go-to-market decisions
- Shape strategy. Contribute to broader marketing strategy alongside senior cross-functional leaders, and help grow the marketing capability behind the channel over time
Skills
- 6+ years of B2B marketing experience, with strong candidates often closer to 10
- HubSpot ownership at an architectural level: data modeling, segmentation logic, automation design, and reporting
- A track record of tying marketing to outcomes
- Channel, partner, or field marketing experience: you have marketed to or through a partner network and moved its behavior
- Excellent written communication
- A modern B2B operator's instincts: analytical, curious, and creative
- Insurance, insurtech, or financial services experience is a meaningful plus, not a requirement
- Independent-agency experience is a strong plus
