[Remote] Senior IFS Cloud Systems Administrator

Pop-Up Talent is seeking a Senior IFS Cloud Systems Administrator to lead the technical operations of their managed IFS Cloud environments. This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining system health, managing production environments, and leading critical incident response while collaborating with developers and functional consultants to ensure reliability and performance.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain IFS Cloud environments in both self-managed and hosted deployments
- Support Kubernetes (MicroK8s), Linux servers, Windows servers, middleware, and Oracle databases
- Perform Oracle database administration, including backups, restores, disaster recovery planning, refreshes, performance tuning, and capacity management
- Manage IFS Lifecycle Experience and Build Place, including deployments, upgrades, service updates, release management, environment cloning, and testing
- Administer application security, permissions, configuration, Aurena, Lobby, and scheduled jobs
- Coordinate deployments from development through production in partnership with developers and functional consultants
- Monitor infrastructure and application health while proactively resolving technical issues
- Lead high-priority production incidents and perform root cause analysis
- Manage SSL/TLS certificates and software licensing
- Support integrations using REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, and IFS Connect
- Develop automation, documentation, operational procedures, and technical runbooks
- Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation for critical production support
Skills
- At least 8+ years of enterprise systems or infrastructure administration experience
- Hands-on experience administering IFS Cloud in self-managed deployments
- Strong Oracle Database Administration experience (RMAN, backup/recovery, refreshes, performance tuning)
- Experience administering Linux and Windows servers
- Production experience with Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with: IFS Lifecycle Experience, Build Place, Application deployments, Security roles and permissions, Aurena, Lobby
- Proven ability to lead production incidents and troubleshoot complex enterprise environments
- Experience with IFS Connect
- REST and SOAP web services
- XML and JSON integrations
- SQL and PL/SQL scripting
- Active Directory and Okta integration
- Experience supporting IFS Applications 9/10
- Professional certifications are a plus, including: IFS Certified Practitioner, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Oracle Cloud, AWS, or Azure certifications, CompTIA Security+
