[Remote] Senior Financial Management Business Analyst

Chartis Federal is a premier systems engineering and integration firm specializing in mission-critical IT and communications solutions for law enforcement, homeland security, and defense. They are seeking a Senior Financial Management Business Analyst to lead financial management support services for USDA FPAC, overseeing budget planning, financial analysis, and interagency agreement management activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead financial management support activities and serve as task lead
- Develop and maintain budgets, spend plans, and financial forecasts
- Monitor financial performance and provide analytical recommendations
- Support Interagency Agreement (IAA) development and management
- Prepare financial reports, executive briefings, and budget analyses
- Coordinate with federal stakeholders on budget execution and planning activities
- Conduct financial reconciliations and variance analyses
- Develop and implement process improvements
- Provide mentorship and oversight to supporting analysts
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting federal financial management
- Extensive knowledge of federal budgeting, appropriations, and financial management practices
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Certified Government Financial Manager(CGFM)
- Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM)
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Experience supporting USDA or other civilian Federal agencies
