[Remote] Senior Financial Analyst - Accounting - FT - Days - MHS

They are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial analysis and prepare financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities
- Assists Controller in the preparation of annual audited financial statements in conjunction with outside auditors and preparation of other required annual reports
- Assists with monthly ad-hoc financial analysis and provides customer support as requested
- Produces and manages financial reporting packages and corresponding analysis, which may include accounts like accounts receivable, revenue, cash, or other complex areas
- Responds to requests for analysis and provides analytical support to the Finance management team
- Discusses departmental statements with department heads and investigates any material variances
- Performs monthly close of assigned entities
- Ensures all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and supported with proper documentation
- Assists in the preparation of the assigned entities annual operating budget
Skills
- Bachelors (Required)
- Three (3) years experience
- Accounting or Finance or In a job related field
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
