[Remote] Senior Enterprise Account Executive
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Morning Consult is a global decision intelligence company changing how modern leaders make smarter decisions. They are seeking a highly experienced, strategic Senior Enterprise Account Executive to drive complex, high-value enterprise sales and accelerate growth. This role involves managing the full sales cycle, mentoring team members, and developing sales strategies to penetrate new markets.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex, high-value sales cycles with minimal oversight, including advanced Qualification, Discovery, and deal structuring for enterprise clients
- Develop and execute creative strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing relationships, often in ambiguous or rapidly evolving environments
- Own top-of-funnel and full-cycle sales activities—from prospecting and outreach to closing—while setting the standard for best practices and innovative approaches
- Deliver compelling, customized platform demonstrations and thought leadership to C-level and executive stakeholders, leveraging deep product and industry knowledge
- Analyze complex client needs and market data to craft tailored solutions and proposals that align with both client objectives and Morning Consult’s strategic goals
- Maintain rigorous pipeline management and forecasting in Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and providing insights to inform business strategy
- Mentor and coach team members, sharing expertise, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment
- Contribute to the development of sales methodologies and processes, helping to shape the future of the Business Development team
- Represent Morning Consult externally as a subject matter expert, building relationships with key industry leaders and partners
- Continuously improve through feedback and proactively share actionable insights to drive team and organizational improvement
- Perform other tasks and duties as may be required or assigned from time to time in the Company’s discretion
Skills
- 8+ years of enterprise sales experience, with a strong record of closing complex deals in SaaS, data, or market research environments
- BS/BA or equivalent; advanced degree a plus
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage and close high-value, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Deep intellectual curiosity and the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights for diverse audiences
- Advanced knowledge of marketing, communications, data, or brand strategy
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to executive and C-level audiences
- Proven ability to mentor, coach, and elevate team performance
- Experience contributing to the development of sales processes, methodologies, or best practices
- Commitment to continuous learning and fostering a culture of growth and inclusion
- Familiarity with survey research and its methods (highly valued, but not required)
