[Remote] Senior Director/Vice President, Recruiting
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. TransForce is seeking a Senior Director/VP, Recruiting to lead their enterprise recruiting initiatives. This role focuses on crafting a recruiting strategy that aligns with business needs, establishing standardized practices, and advocating for the recruiting function across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the enterprise recruiting strategy aligned to business and customer needs
- Establish standardized recruiting practices, workflows, and expectations
- Partner with regional and local leaders to ensure alignment and adoption
- Serve as a centralized resource and advocate for the recruiting function
- Analyze recruiting data, trends, and productivity metrics across regions
- Identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities
- Establish and monitor recruiting KPIs (speed, quality, pipeline health, proactive sourcing)
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve recruiter effectiveness and outcomes
- Ability to implement and understand use of AI and technology
- Design and lead training programs to enhance recruiter skills and consistency
- Shift recruiter behaviors from reactive fulfillment to proactive talent sourcing
- Coach recruiters on candidate presentation, client engagement, and relationship building
- Promote best practices in sourcing, screening, and candidate marketing
- Drive proactive talent identification and pipeline-building strategies
- Encourage relationship-based recruiting with both candidates and clients
- Improve candidate quality through stronger screening, assessment, and presentation
- Support development of reusable talent pools for key roles and customers
Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, including leadership or enterprise-level roles
- Proven experience leading recruiting teams in a dotted-line or matrix environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into action
- Demonstrated success in developing recruiter capabilities and improving performance
- Strong influencing, coaching, and communication skills
- Experience in staffing, transportation, logistics, or high-volume recruiting environments preferred
