[Remote] Senior Analytics Engineer (Healthcare SaaS)

Harnham is a rapidly growing healthcare technology company, and they are seeking two Senior Analytics Engineers to build analytics capabilities for a customer-facing SaaS platform. The role involves developing analytics products that enhance decision-making for healthcare organizations through advanced SQL expertise and collaboration with engineering and product teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop customer facing analytics products from concept through deployment
- Build complex SQL transformations across large transactional datasets
- Partner with engineering and product teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
- Create analytics experiences that are intuitive, reliable, and easy for customers to use
- Evaluate technical tradeoffs and contribute to architectural decisions
- Take ownership of projects while working in an environment where priorities and requirements continue to evolve
- Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, and deployment
Skills
- Advanced SQL experience in production environments
- Experience building analytics products rather than traditional reports or dashboards
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Vertica, or similar technologies
- Experience designing scalable data models and transformations
- Ability to explain technical decisions and communicate tradeoffs effectively
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
- Healthcare claims, healthcare services, or transactional healthcare data
- Tableau or Looker
- Python
- Git and version control
- Linux or command line experience
- Customer facing analytics applications and data visualization
