[Remote] Senior Account Manager: Digital Media (SEM & Social Ads)

X Agency is an integrated digital marketing agency seeking a high-performing Senior Account Manager for Digital Media specializing in SEM and Social Ads. The role involves planning, executing, and optimizing paid media strategies while building strong relationships with clients and contributing to operational excellence within the agency.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with management to develop and optimize Paid Search and Paid Social (Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, Pinterest, Twitter, TikTok) opportunities
- Lead campaign setup, daily optimizations, and creative reporting
- Resolve blockers in campaign performance and product feed management efficiently, maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams
- Create and maintain campaigns by collaborating with team members for high-quality copywriting, graphic design, and product imagery
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with client senior leadership and maintain an intimate understanding of their business, competition, and marketing objectives
- Collaborate with marketing teams to design sales and promotional plans, ensuring the ability to track results and overall profitability
- Identify untapped product opportunities and seek out additional agency services to drive business growth and long-term strategy
- Develop and implement plans and programs that support both day-to-day account tasks and long-term business goals
- Regularly review client feedback and communicate with team members to address client needs
- Deliver strategically rooted, creatively driven work that produces measurable and profitable results for all clients
- Assist in proposal efforts and manage new business pitches from initial development to final signature
Skills
- 5+ years of experience with Google Adwords, Google Shopping, Bing, Meta Business Manager
- Experience with Meta Commerce Manager (Catalog, Product Sets), Shops, Event Manager, and Pixel integration
- Proficiency in other Social platforms (LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.)
- Experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Conversion Tracking
- Fluent in Google Workspace
- An expert in Google Sheets, including formula usage
- Product feed creation and optimization experience with Google Merchant Center via FTP/ XML or 3rd party tools such as Shopify, Woocommerce, Feedonomics, or similar
- Proactive in strategic and effective use of AI in daily work; thinks out of the box to utilize AI and other technology to drive efficiency and effectiveness in ad campaigns and other work activities
- Analytical and data-driven when it comes to decision-making, marketing strategy and performance
- Deep understanding of and experience in ecommerce
- Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while following overall company strategy and client strategy
- Ability to adapt and respond to multiple incoming requests and shifting priorities
- Takes incredible pride in own work, self- motivated, passionate about driving client growth, prioritizes going the extra mile to overachieve and deliver results
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience in eCommerce CMS platforms or Lead Gen CMS/ERPs
- Experience managing Amazon Ads
- Experience with reporting tools such as Looker, Triple Whale, or similar
- Familiarity with ClickUp or similar project management tool
- Strong relationships with a network of clients
- Experience being a leader or contributor in building relationships with clients including presentations to clients and prospects
