[Remote] SAP Functional Business Analyst – Field Service Systems

Synergy Solutions Executive Search and Staffing is working with So Cal Gas to find a SAP Functional Business Analyst for their Field Service Systems. This role focuses on modernizing workforce systems and involves collaborating with business users to translate operational workflows into SAP functional designs.
Responsibilities
- Lead blueprinting workshops with dispatch, field crews, and operations leadership to map real-world field workflows
- Convert business rules into structured functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Align field operations with SAP PM and IS‑U, ensuring asset, billing, and maintenance data flow cleanly across the enterprise
- Configure SAP FSM and guide functional testing, partnering closely with business teams during UAT
- Serve as the functional bridge between legacy ClickSoftware logic and modern SAP field service architecture
Skills
- Utility Operations Experience (5+ years): You understand regulated environments, field safety, emergency response, and dispatch priorities
- Legacy ClickSoftware Knowledge: Experience with ClickSchedule, ClickMobile, or CFSE scheduling logic
- SAP FSM / SSAM Exposure: Hands-on functional configuration or deployment experience
- Strong Business-Facing Skills: Blueprinting, requirements gathering, facilitation — no coding required
- Hybrid Work Style: Comfortable working remotely with monthly on-site collaboration in Irvine
