[Remote] REMOTE UI/UX Designer

They are seeking a UX/UI Designer to design and improve their web-based project management platform, collaborating closely with leadership and development teams to bring new features from concept to production.

Responsibilities

Design intuitive, user-centered experiences for web-based SaaS applications Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, mockups, and high-fidelity UI designs Build and maintain design systems, UI standards, and style guides Conduct user research and gather feedback to improve usability and adoption Ensure a consistent, modern, and engaging experience across the platform Translate business objectives into thoughtful, effective user experiences Collaborate with leadership to define product vision, roadmap priorities, and feature requirements Participate in ideation sessions and contribute creative solutions to product challenges Create functional specs, user stories, workflows, and design documentation Support QA testing, feature validation, and release readiness Analyze user feedback and product performance to recommend enhancements Drive continuous improvement across the product lifecycle Act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and outsourced development teams Coordinate sprint timelines, deliverables, and development milestones Track progress to ensure features ship on schedule and within scope Communicate priorities, requirements, and updates across stakeholders Identify risks, roadblocks, and resource constraints while driving resolution Maintain project documentation, reporting, and development status updates Skills 3+ years of UX/UI design experience for web-based applications or SaaS platforms Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design and modern interface work Experience coordinating software development or managing product-related projects Ability to work directly with developers, engineering teams, or outsourced partners Strong understanding of UX research, information architecture, and usability testing Experience translating business requirements into user experiences and technical specs Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced startup environment Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with leadership Experience with SaaS, workflow tools, or project management software is a plus Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar design tools Prototyping, user journey mapping, and interaction design Responsive and mobile-first design principles Design system creation and maintenance User research methodologies and usability testing Writing product requirements and user stories Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Exposure to AI-assisted design tools QA testing, release management, and product lifecycle support Benefits Competitive base salary ESOP (equity ownership in a growing startup) Performance-based bonus opportunities Significant career growth and influence as an early team member Opportunity to shape a product used by teams across industries Entrepreneurial, collaborative, and mission-driven culture Company Overview CyberCoders is a recruiting firm locating job positions across all industries, including finance, education, engineering and healthcare.
