Graphic Designer-Fully Remote

Job Description

Job Purpose: The Graphic Designer will work with the Art Director in a tactical function to design digital assets, including (but not limited to) email campaigns, invitations, web assets, posters, postcards, ads, and a variety of miscellaneous assets for web and print. We seek a bright and imaginative designer, capable of visually supporting organizational business goals, with strong communication and collaboration skills. Key Responsibilities:

• The graphic designer is responsible for conceptualization and implementation of design solutions that meet marketing strategies from concept to completion.
• Work with the Art Director to develop and execute design concepts.
• Implement design using brand-standard colors, images, type style, and layout for use in email campaigns, print collateral, event support and other marketing initiatives.
• Create visual mock-ups to show design work in context.
• Present design work to the Art Director and other internal clients for review.
• Review designs for errors before printing or publishing.
• Other duties as assigned.

Specific Skills/Knowledge:

• The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Demonstrate an expert level of proficiency in Adobe CS design applications, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Possess specialized knowledge of methods and techniques in the areas of graphic design, layout, and delivering assets in the correct format for both web and print applications.
• Able to replicate and design within grid and typographic guidelines
• Highly organized and able to work within existing file structures or naming conventions.
• Able to conceptualize and implement a design solution from start to finish.
• Able to track revisions on several projects simultaneously.
• High attention to detail in file management and accuracy of deliverables.
• Works well in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualification/Experience:

• Bachelors degree in graphic design or related field.
• 1 to 2 years of experience as a Graphic Designer.
• Multi-national experience in the field of restaurants is preferred.
