[Remote] Remote - Security Program Management Specialist
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Parsons Corporation is seeking a talented Senior Security Program Management Specialist to join their Security & Risk organization. This role involves leading workstream-level planning and coordination, driving data-driven decision support through analytics, and establishing continuity practices across workstreams to strengthen execution maturity.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning, execution alignment, and capacity optimization for assigned projects
- Facilitate scope, dependency, and risk discussions; prepare leadership-ready summaries/briefs
- Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocations to ensure timely delivery
- Track cross-initiative dependencies and identify execution risks with mitigation options
- Lead intake and prioritization efforts, implement process enhancements such as workflow and template development/optimization, and facilitate the adoption of program management tools to ensure consistency and scalability
- Establish continuity practices to reduce fragmentation and rework
- Lead Security and Risk organization shared services execution and accountability across assigned service categories
- Define and monitor shared service level expectations and performance
- Manage intake across shared services requests and prioritize workload
- Coordinate forecasts, spend tracking, and budget activities
- Support spend optimization, license rationalization, and procurement coordination
- Coordinate vendor intake, performance tracking, SLAs, and renewal workflows
- Support QBRs and vendor governance activities
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and metrics frameworks (Power BI)
- Support program and leadership with recurring reporting cadences (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
- Leverage automation and AI tools to improve reporting efficiency
- Lead or support enterprise task forces, M&A integration, and transformation initiatives
- Serve as cross-functional liaison (HR, IT, Legal, Procurement, Finance)
- Partner with IT Business Relationship Management (BRM) and Business Unit leadership on security-related coordination
Skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- 4+ years in program/project management, program delivery, business analysis, or enterprise operations management experience
- Strong facilitation, stakeholder influence, and executive communication skills
- Advanced proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet)
- Experience with financial coordination, budget management and vendor management
- Advanced data manipulation, visualization, and dashboard development (Power BI)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance
- Experience in cybersecurity, risk, compliance, or technology environments
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Data analytics or Business Intelligence certification
- Experience with automation/AI tools for reporting
- Confluence, SharePoint, Power Apps, or similar knowledge management platforms
