[Remote] Recruiting Internship

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Career Launch Tech Initiative (CLTI) is a nonprofit organization focused on empowering underserved individuals with technology and resources for career development. The Recruiting Intern will manage the full recruiting cycle, contributing to the organization's mission while gaining hands-on experience in talent acquisition and recruiting operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the coordination and execution of AI-assisted recruitment strategies at scale
  • Sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, and professional networks via data-driven approach
  • Operating AI screening agents to automate evaluation, interpreting quantitative and behavioral assessments
  • Scheduling interviews and maintaining clear communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Supporting the creation and posting of job descriptions, applying analytical insights to optimize fit
  • Maintaining and updating applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment databases for pipeline analysis
  • Participating in team meetings, providing data-informed progress updates, and collaborating on initiatives
  • Assisting in employer branding efforts, including outreach messages and materials for prospective candidates
  • Proposing quantitative observations or special projects applying academic knowledge to strengthen recruiting
  • Preparing reports and summaries on recruitment metrics, candidate pipelines, and AI tool performance

  • Organized and detail-oriented- you keep records accurate and pipelines up to date without being reminded
  • Self-motivated and proactive- you take initiative and go beyond what is asked
  • Comfortable making judgment calls about people and communicating decisions with empathy
  • Communicates openly- if something comes up, you say so instead of going silent
  • Prior experience in recruiting, HR, customer service, or people-facing roles is a plus but not required
  • Students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply
