[Remote] Project Manager Environmental Remediation

They are seeking a Project Manager in Environmental Remediation to oversee Federal environmental remediation projects, manage staff, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Familiar with project invoicing and cash flow management
- Manages and directs professional and technical staff to complete complex environmental projects
- Leads teams by utilizing advanced scientific principles, theories, and practices
- Utilizes existing technologies and experience to develop technical solutions to complex problems
- Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance
- Analyzes financial statements and completes budget tracking
- Performs work with minimal direction with periodic reporting to area manager
- Oversees the preparation of work plans and organizes project studies
- Performs complex assignments often requiring the development of unique solutions to problems with the support of the project team
- Supervises junior and mid-level staff during all phases of project work
- Conducts reviews and provides staff feedback for continued improvement
Skills
- BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, or related field with + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Valid US Drivers License
- Due to the nature of the work U.S. Citizenship is required
- Professional License (PE, PG, PMP, CHMM, or similar)
- 10+ years' experience in environmental remediation (soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, PFAS, munitions) project management
- Master's degree in Geology, Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations
- Experience successfully managing environmental projects for Federal clients (USACE, AFCEC, Navy)
- Thorough working knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and communication, both verbal and written skills
- Experience in team management and scheduling of staff and resources to ensure on time and on budget project delivery
- Superior communication, writing, editing, and reporting skills for a wide variety of audiences
- Experience preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders
- Interest in business development
- Have led teams of professionals in executing Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Risk Assessment, Treatability Studies, Remedial Design, and Remedial Action Construction, in support of Federal environmental projects
