[Remote] Project Manager

Howard Technology Solutions is a leading provider of advanced technology services and is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead technology projects from inception to completion. The role involves overseeing project teams, managing budgets, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction while delivering quality results.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects following Howard’s Professional Services Project Management Methodology
- Define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements
- Manage status reporting, budgeting, documentation, and risk mitigation strategies
- Hold project teams accountable for delivering quality results
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all project stakeholders
- Ensure project deliverables align with stakeholder expectations and business objectives
- Act as a Howard steward for quality, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Own and monitor project budgets, ensuring expenses and invoices are accurately tracked and approved on time
- Validate project scope, estimates, and actively manage risks or scope changes that may impact project delivery
- Demonstrate ability in negotiating small changes and solving problems that might impact the project
- Assist in identifying and scheduling resources while optimizing billable hours
- Be accountable for project results while holding the project team to the same standard
- Support timecard approvals, expenses, and invoice submissions
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including communication plans, schedules, and executive status reports
- Assist in resolving minor project issues and escalating challenges when needed
- Lead negotiations on project scope changes and proactively solve project challenges
- Ensure all deliverables defined in Howard's Statement of Work are met, performing quality assurance checks throughout the project lifecycle
Skills
- 3-5+ years of project management experience in the technology sector
- Experience leading projects in at least one Advanced Technology solution area
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Office)
- Strong financial acumen and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Willingness to travel up to 25% as required
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Fiscal responsibility and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to manage sensitive/confidential information
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field
- PMI PMP Certification
