[Remote] Product Manager- London or Manchester

FDM Group is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Product Manager with Active SC to work for their client within the public sector. The role involves leading the strategy and vision for enterprise email and collaboration tooling, ensuring alignment with user needs and organizational objectives while working within a multidisciplinary agile team.
Responsibilities
- Define, own, and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for email and collaboration services
- Ensure alignment with organisational priorities, user needs, and technology direction
- Lead the planning and prioritisation of the product backlog for a multidisciplinary squad
- Create, refine, and prioritise user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria to ensure clarity and delivery value
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes aligned to user and business needs
- Conduct discovery and analysis activities to identify user needs, pain points, and opportunities for improvement within M365 collaboration tooling
- Engage with technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior leaders to gather requirements and understand demand
- Assess whether requirements can be met through existing capabilities or require new solutions, balancing cost, risk, and value
- Build and maintain strong working relationships to ensure alignment and effective collaboration
- Develop and maintain a continuously prioritised and transparent roadmap for key products and services
- Produce product updates, status reports, and briefings for stakeholders at all levels
- Ensure visibility of progress, risks, dependencies, and opportunities
Skills
- Applicants must hold active SC clearance and have worked within a government department within the past 12 months
- Experience working as a Product Manager or Product Owner in an agile environment
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, particularly Exchange and Outlook
- Demonstrable experience managing product backlogs and roadmaps
- Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear, user-focused deliverables
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience defining and tracking KPIs and product success measures
