[Remote] Principal Product Manager/Strategy-Data Protection and Recovery

The Principal Product Manager will drive product ideation and requirements for data protection and recovery solutions, collaborating with sales and marketing to enhance customer adoption and address modern enterprise needs.
Responsibilities
- Assume responsibilities for driving ideation and requirements for new product offerings, while working with sales and marketing on go-to-market programs
- Lead initiatives to drive product requirements/roadmap for Oracle-differentiated capabilities and enable customer adoption of Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance and Zero Data Loss Autonomous Recovery Service for on-premises/hybrid/cloud/multicloud data protection against cyber / ransomware threats
- Perform customer/market research and gather competitive intelligence on ransomware protection trends especially in AI-based data protection
- Analyze and integrate customer requirements into product definition documents
- Work with development teams throughout the product lifecycle, including functional/design specifications, testing, and release activities
- Communicate early adopter customer experiences to development and organize customer forums for networking and collaboration
- Analyze industry trends, gather competitive intelligence, regularly engage with strategic customers, speak at industry conferences, and coordinate launch activities with Oracle marketing and partners
- Contribute individually and as part of the broader mission-critical database technologies team
- In this product management role, you will work with an elite group of software developers and other product managers to assist with current initiatives around developing and marketing Oracle’s capabilities for data protection for on-premises and cloud. You may be expected to take complete product management ownership in selected areas as well as products to be released in the future, including multicloud and AI related offerings
Skills
- Fluency in English for verbal and written communication skills
- BS or MS degree with 3-5 years experience in a product management role
- Data protection / backup / recovery experience
- Oracle database / data management experience
- Cyber security / cyber protection experience
- AWS / Azure / Google Cloud enterprise services experience

- Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment.
