[Remote] Oracle Cloud Financials Lead Consultant (w/Budgetary Control)

Sierra-Cedar is a leading Oracle Cloud consulting company that delivers innovative and transformative projects for its clients across various sectors. They are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Financials Lead Consultant with expertise in Budgetary Control and GL to provide functional consulting services and implement Cloud solutions in a public sector setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide functional Oracle Cloud consulting services by acting as a subject matter expert and leading clients through the entire Cloud application services implementation life cycle
- Identify business requirements and map them to ERP Cloud functionality
- Conduct functional design workshops, identify functionality gaps, and build extensions for them
- Advise client on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems
- Configure applications to meet client requirements, validate configuration and data, and document application set-ups
- Write business requirement documents for reports, interfaces, data conversions, and application extensions
- Assist clients in preparing validation scripts and test scenarios and developing test scripts
- Lead migration of configuration, integrations, and extensions to production
- Effectively communicate, provide status reports, and drive project deliverables
- Share knowledge to continually improve implementation methodology
Skills
- Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience with Oracle Cloud Financials and 2 end-to-end, hands-on Oracle Cloud implementations
- Oracle ERP Cloud experience encompassing the full Oracle Cloud Financials suites, with expertise in GL, Budgetary Control, Chart of Accounts, Cost Allocations, and SLA
- Must have clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability and initiative to work independently and with technical team members and end users
- Ability to lead other functional consultants through the different project phases
- Display effective analytical and organizational skills
- Public Sector experience (city, county, state government offices, k-12 public schools) required
- Bachelor's degree is required at a minimum
- Must already be living in the US
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- All work to be performed in the US
- Oracle Cloud certification(s) strongly preferred
