[Remote] Media Strategist

They are seeking a Media Strategist to develop and implement media strategies that align with marketing objectives, oversee media buying and placement, and conduct audience and competitive analysis.
Responsibilities
- Media Planning & Strategy: Assists in the development and implement media strategies that align with the company’s marketing objectives, seasonal campaigns, and promotional activities
- Omnichannel Campaign Management: Oversee media buying and placement across video, audio, live sports, linear TV, display, social, OOH, DOOH, search, affiliate, etc
- Audience & Competitive Analysis: Conduct research on target demographics, shopping behaviors, and market trends to optimize media strategies
- Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with the media agency and cross functional teams to ensure media plans are implemented accurately
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor campaign performance, analyze key metrics (ROAS, conversion rates, traffic, engagement), and provide actionable insights to improve effectiveness
- Budget Management: Allocate and manage media spend efficiently to maximize impact while staying within budget constraints of approved campaigns
- Vendor & Partner Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with media agencies, publishers, and advertising partners
- Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on emerging media trends, consumer behavior shifts, and retail marketing innovations to refine strategy
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Advertising, Marketing or Communications
- 5-7 years of experience in Omnichannel Media planning and/or buying
- Microsoft Outlook
- Microsoft Excel

- Media buying self-service platforms
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
