[Remote] Market Operations Analyst (Health Plans or Managed Care)

Liberty Dental Plan is seeking a Market Operations Analyst who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys turning data and operational insights into meaningful action. This role plays a key part in supporting market performance, improving workflows, and driving operational excellence across teams.
Responsibilities
- Analyze market performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
- Support operational initiatives across claims, provider, and member processes
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Claims, UM, Provider Relations, IT) to resolve issues and improve workflows
- Monitor key performance metrics and develop reports to support leadership decision-making
- Identify root causes of operational challenges and recommend scalable solutions
- Assist with process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
- Track and support implementation of system updates, configuration changes, or operational enhancements
- Provide insights and documentation to support ongoing business operations and strategic initiatives
Skills
- Minimum Bachelor's degree (4‑year) in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable insights
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare operations, process improvement, or project coordination preferred
- Experience within a health plan or managed care environment is a plus
- Experience with reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL, etc.)
- Familiarity with claims, utilization management, or provider operations
- Experience with system workflows, configuration, or process design
