[Remote] Manager of Web Experience & Operations

Included Health is a company focused on improving healthcare experiences, and they are seeking a Manager of Web Experience & Operations to oversee their marketing websites. The role involves managing day-to-day operations, optimizing web performance, and ensuring high-quality execution across various web and SEO-related tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day operations for Included Health’s marketing websites and client microsites, ensuring content is accurate, on-brand, accessible, and optimized across devices
  • Execute on intake tickets and internal marketing requests
  • Translate the broader web roadmap into quarterly and monthly priorities; own intake, backlog management, and day-to-day tradeoff decisions across requests, bugs, optimizations, and launches
  • Build and update pages, templates, and content modules in WordPress and related tools, applying best practices for UX, accessibility, scalability, technical SEO, and performance; troubleshoot issues and partner with developers on more complex changes
  • Lead launch readiness and execution for site updates, including QA, compliance checks, stakeholder communication, and post-launch monitoring
  • Improve web publishing workflows, documentation, and operational guardrails so teams can move faster while maintaining quality and consistency
  • Identify opportunities to use AI and automation to streamline repetitive work, accelerate QA and optimization workflows, and improve team efficiency
  • Define and implement scalable technical SEO and AEO/GEO best practices across site architecture, internal linking, metadata, structured data, XML sitemaps, redirects, canonicals, and indexation controls
  • Own test-and-learn execution across sites by developing hypotheses, running experiments, and operationalizing wins into repeatable best practices
  • Monitor site health and technical SEO performance using analytics, Search Console, and crawling tools; diagnose issues related to crawlability, rendering, indexation, page speed, broken templates, and technical errors, then prioritize remediation
  • Build reporting on key web KPIs and communicate results, recommendations, and priorities clearly to stakeholders
  • Lead and execute cross-functional coordination across Marketing, Product, Engineering, Analytics, Design, Content Strategy, and partners to deliver initiatives from concept through launch

Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in website management, digital marketing, technical SEO, web publishing, or related roles, including hands-on responsibility for a production marketing website
  • Strong experience with WordPress or a similar CMS, including page creation, content updates, site structure, publishing workflows, and technical troubleshooting in partnership with developers
  • Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills, including experience owning intake, prioritization, and execution for multiple concurrent web initiatives
  • Strong working knowledge of technical SEO, including crawlability, indexation, schema, internal linking, site architecture, redirects, canonicals, XML sitemaps, Core Web Vitals, and the diagnostic frameworks used to identify and prioritize SEO issues
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including how front-end implementation and rendering decisions affect site performance, accessibility, and user experience
  • Experience using AI and LLM-based tools to improve efficiency across technical SEO, web publishing, content operations, QA, or analysis workflows
  • Experience running experiments and supporting conversion rate optimization on landing pages or website experiences
  • Proficiency with web analytics and technical SEO tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, and related crawling, auditing, and reporting tools
  • Ability to translate data into actionable recommendations, communicate technical concepts clearly, and improve processes over time
  • Strong ownership, attention to detail, and comfort operating in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in healthcare, digital health, or another regulated industry
  • Experience scaling client microsites, personalized web experiences, or B2B2C digital journeys
  • Experience contributing to web governance, reusable templates, or scalable content models that improve team efficiency
  • Experience working with Asana or similar tools to manage web issues, requests, and development workflows
