[Remote] Legal Secretary
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani is a national law firm with offices in all 50 states, seeking a Legal Secretary to support attorneys in its Salt Lake City office. The role requires candidates to have at least 5 years of experience and involves working independently on pleadings, discovery, and motion preparation, among other responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Work independently on pleadings, discovery, motion preparation and e-discovery
- Experience and knowledge with e-filing in state and federal court, case management, docketing, e-discovery, document review, exhibit preparation, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is beneficial
- Excellent analytical and written communication skills
- Experience with insurance defense and commercial litigation is a must
Skills
- At least 5 years of experience as a legal secretary in a law firm
- Work independently on pleadings, discovery, motion preparation and e-discovery
- Experience and knowledge with e-filing in state and federal court, case management, docketing, e-discovery, document review, exhibit preparation, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills
- Excellent analytical and written communication skills

- Familiarity with Utah State and Federal Rules preferred
