[Remote] Legal AI Architect
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Eve is redefining legal technology for plaintiff law firms, and they're building a team to innovate in AI-driven legal solutions. The Legal AI Architect will deliver custom workflow solutions, drive AI adoption, and inform product strategy while ensuring quality and compliance in legal practices.
Responsibilities
- Complete all post-sales custom workflow requests within two weeks of submission, creating scalable, objective solutions for legal drafting and analysis that drive immediate client value
- Work directly with internal and external Eve users to scope, create, and implement customized workflows that meet specific customer needs while maintaining objectivity and avoiding unauthorized practice of law
- Develop and implement comprehensive KPIs and metrics for product adoption and custom solutions. Create immediate baselines of success based on current usage trends and available data to define and measure law firm outcomes
- Develop and implement a transparent accountability system for all workflow requests, ensuring repeatable, scalable success as Eve grows. Create an internal repository of playbooks and workflows that can be deployed across customers without impropriety
- Provide critical feedback loops to product and GTM teams based on customer workflow needs, directly informing roadmap decisions and product development priorities
- Partner with Customer Success Managers to create world-class quarterly business review (QBR) decks featuring AI usage data, and publish routine AI value reports (EBRs) for internal stakeholders that demonstrate measurable ROI and positional value
- Create and maintain scalable, internal workflows grounded in objectivity that neutralize assumption, imprecision, and legal ethics concerns, ensuring all custom solutions meet rigorous standards before deployment
Skills
- Legal Expertise: JD or 5+ years of substantive legal experience required. Deep understanding of legal workflows, practice areas, and the ethical boundaries of legal practice
- AI and Legal Tech Experience: Proven experience with AI implementation and/or legal technology solutions. Ability to translate technical capabilities into practical legal applications
- Exceptional Critical Thinking: Outstanding active listening skills combined with exceptional problem-solving and logical thinking abilities. Can quickly diagnose workflow needs and design effective solutions
- Relentless Attention to Detail: Demonstrated commitment to precision and accuracy in creating workflows that must perform reliably in high-stakes legal environments
- Business Outcomes Ownership: Proven track record of owning and delivering measurable business results, with accountability for customer success metrics
- Data Analytics Expertise: Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop meaningful metrics, interpret usage data, and convey insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Bilingual Communication: Can seamlessly translate between legal terminology and technical concepts, explaining complex AI capabilities to legal professionals and articulating legal requirements to technical teams
- Plaintiff-Side Legal Experience: Background working with plaintiff attorneys or law firms, with understanding of personal injury, mass tort, or other plaintiff practice areas
- Customer-Facing Experience: Track record of working directly with clients to understand requirements, manage expectations, and deliver solutions that drive satisfaction and retention
- Technical Documentation Skills: Experience creating clear, comprehensive documentation, playbooks, or training materials for legal or technical audiences
- Process Design Experience: Success developing scalable processes, systems, or frameworks that balance customization with standardization
- Product-Minded Approach: Natural curiosity about how products work and how they can be improved, with ability to provide actionable feedback to product teams
- Startup Experience: Comfort with ambiguity, rapid iteration, and wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced, early-stage environment where your work directly shapes company direction
