[Remote] Lead DevOps Engineer (Azure)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to help build reliable, scalable, and rapid-delivery solutions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders, ensuring open communication, high-quality results, and continuous improvement in our cloud and DevOps practices.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to design, implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, ensuring fast and consistent software delivery
- Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with Bicep, Terraform or ARM templates to create scalable and repeatable environments
- Support API management and governance through Azure API Management, applying security, transformation and performance policies
- Integrate AI capabilities (Azure OpenAI, AI Search, Document Intelligence) into backend APIs if needed
- Communicate effectively within the team and with stakeholders, sharing knowledge and contributing to a culture of reliability and rapid delivery
Skills
- 5+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and infrastructure automation (Bicep, Terraform, ARM)
- Hands-on skills with Azure Functions, API Management, AKS/Container Apps, API Gateway, Web Apps, etc
- Commitment to reliable, rapid delivery and open communication within the team
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
- Background in .NET development and cloud integration is a plus
