[Remote] Key Account Manager

They are seeking a National Key Account Manager for the Western Region to develop long-term customer partnerships and drive market growth in the Foodservice sector.
Responsibilities
- Establish and cultivate close working business relationships with Foodservice accounts
- Administer headquarter-level operations for key broadline accounts by developing strong category manager partnerships, utilizing data and analysis for business reviews, and activating sales strategies
- Growing points of distribution by managing & networking with distributors, large direct buying accounts, and operators
- Effectively communicate product offerings to customers, showcasing new & existing line items to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction. Provide customers with information about product offerings and sell new line items
- Presenting and communicating with various levels within a customer's network and internal cross-functional partners
- Training distributor partner sales organization teams and/or broker partners
- Execute plans and objectives, delivering territory budgets and growth targets
- Targeting, prospecting, and selling new accounts (cold calls)
- Perform effective communication of account activity and requirements with cross-functional partners to ensure account services are maintained at the highest level
Skills
- A minimum of a BA/BS degree in Business and/or Marketing or related field; MBA preferred
- 2-3 years of Foodservice industry experience driving growth and expanding market share through broadline distributors
- Consumer packaged goods experience, food and beverage focus a plus
