[Remote] Key Account Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Trace One is a global leader in PLM and Compliance solutions within the process manufacturing and retail CPG space. They are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to drive growth and success of key client relationships in the US, focusing on maintaining long-term relationships and expanding accounts.
Responsibilities
- Developing trusted relationships with a portfolio of major clients
- Developing a thorough understanding of each client's objectives, organization, and personnel
- Identifying and influencing key decision makers within client organizations
- Resolving issues and complaints to maintain client trust
- Expanding relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
- Managing communications between key clients and internal teams
- Strategic planning to improve client results
- Negotiating contracts and establishing performance timelines
- Presenting Trace One's product offering at conferences, seminars, and other events
- Developing relationships with external companies and partners to identify sales synergies
- Ensuring accurate reporting and maintaining key account information on a weekly basis using the CRM
- Preparing and presenting follow-up reports and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics
- Working closely with Customer Success Managers and Professional Services to ensure the best customer experience
Skills
- 3+ years of experience selling software in a Web, SaaS, or Cloud environment, with a strong understanding of subscription and recurring revenue business models
- Deep knowledge of complex sales methodologies (Solution Selling, SPIN, Miller Heiman, or equivalent)
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Ability to work with minimal guidance, proactive, and comfortable handling uncertainty
- Goal-oriented, organized team player
- Experience mentoring and leading team members
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Experience in retail/FMCG, food products, or Product Label/MDD sectors is a plus
