[Remote] Key Account Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Strategic Employment Partners (SEP) is a growing, private equity-backed manufacturer of engineered materials serving Fortune 500 medical device OEMs. The Key Account Manager role is focused on deepening and expanding accounts with major medical device manufacturers, working directly with customer engineering teams on new product introductions.
Responsibilities
- Own and grow relationships across a portfolio of established medical device OEM accounts
- Penetrate adjacent business units within existing customers
- Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and operations to shepherd opportunities through qualification and design-in
Skills
- Minimum 5 years selling directly into medical device OEMs
- OR minimum 10-15+ years of technical sales experience as a substitute
- Comfortable working from a home office after an initial onboarding/training period, with periodic travel
- Demonstrated long sales-cycle discipline (multi-month to multi-year deals)
- Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under ITAR/EAR

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred) or a Technical Degree
- Direct relationships or account history with Abbott, Medtronic, Boston Scientific, Intuitive Surgical, GE Healthcare, Siemens, or similar life sciences companies
