[Remote] Implementation Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Hai Robotics is revolutionizing warehouse automation with intelligent robotics systems. The Implementation Engineer will oversee on-site installation, system testing, and software integration to ensure successful deployment of automation solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the pre-sales team in warehouse site environment surveys and provide technical support
  • Participate in pre-project site planning and confirmation of basic conditions
  • Supervise and execute on-site installation, testing, and integration tasks (covering hardware such as robots, conveyor lines, racks, and floor markers) to ensure compliance with project design standards
  • Coordinate multi-party resources to advance implementation progress
  • Report daily project progress and synchronize key information with internal teams and clients
  • Systematically manage on-site technical assessments, risk analysis, and environmental compliance checks
  • Resolve technical issues during implementation in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with software teams to complete system deployment and joint debugging
  • Participate in automation process validation and integration testing
  • Assist in resolving cross-system issues related to WMS systems, PLCs, and network components
  • Participate in project acceptance
  • Conduct client training and provide onboarding guidance
  • Handle initial troubleshooting of hardware failures, routine inspections, maintenance, and service feedback post-launch

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of warehouse automation, material handling equipment, and warehouse operations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and systems
  • Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and familiarity with Python or Bash scripting
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts, including VPNs, firewalls, and routers
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Visio, Microsoft Office, and basic data analysis
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams
  • Fluent in English
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States/Canada and must provide proof of eligibility upon hire in accordance with federal regulations
  • Internship, academic project, or up to 1 year of experience in robotics, warehouse automation, AGV, ACR, AMR, or related automation systems is preferred
  • Chinese proficiency is preferred
