[Remote] Grant Administrator Professional
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Humana Inc. is a leading U.S. healthcare company, and they are seeking a Grant Administrator Professional to coordinate grant administration activities. This role involves managing the grant administration process, evaluating grant performance, and collaborating with various partners to support philanthropic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Participates in all phases of the investment cycle with emphasis on grant performance evaluation required for renewal or closing
- Serves as grant management process expert by using monitoring and reporting methods appropriate for identifying health of program activities
- Evaluates grantee progress toward milestone and outcomes across the following areas: program, policy, finance, governance, management and legal
- Adjusts activities and strategies based on grantee evaluation and results
- Incorporates quantitative and qualitative monitoring into grant management process to summarize grant progress
- Recommends program modifications, extensions, to Foundation leadership and Board
- Ensure programs within the assigned portfolio follow processes that provide program delivery. These processes should also deliver appropriate grant outcomes and outputs, and support the data, publication, and influence goals of the Foundation
Skills
- Experience in a nonprofit or grant based organizational setting
- 2+ years of experience, to include documentation, process adherence and improvement
- Experience working in a community facing environment
- Experience working multiple systems
- Bachelor's degree
- Post-graduate degree highly desirable (MBA, Public Administration, Statistics, Public Health/Policy, Social Work)
- Volunteerism experience
- Grant lifecycle & performance evaluation
- Pre and post award administration
